A house that is full of children. Last year at this time, we were pensively awaiting Paperwork from China to complete our adoption. Our son spent last year in an orphanage.
Fast forward a year. Jonathan Hudson has come to join us. We have 3 children running around the house. Gone are the days of a quiet Christmas with orderly opening of gifts.
This year, we stayed home Christmas eve and went to our own church for a Christmas Eve service. The kids opened presents on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. Mid morning, we drove to Cheryl's parent's home and the kids opened more gifts. At one point, Laura declined to open any more gifts. Hudson had become very attached to a cash register toy to the point he fights off his sisters attempts to play with it. Budding MBA or fast food worker? Only time will tell.
