BIG IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

THE big news is now here. This is part of the email we received on Tuesday.

"Great news! Today we received your Consulate appointment confirmation!

Your group’s Consulate appointment is confirmed for 2/26/2008.

Based on this Consulate appointment date, CCAI requires that you arrive in HONG KONG on, or before, 2/15/2008.

Your group will fly to Nanchang on Sunday, the17th. CCAI will arrange the group’s in-China flights and hotels - details will follow in your Final Travel Packet.
Your group will take the oath on the afternoon of 2/27/2008."

This means that we are on final boarding for this adoption. We spent the day talking to our pediatrician and doing a dry run packing of our suitcases to get an idea of how heavy they are.

The consulate appointment is the U.S. consulate in Guangzhou. This is necessary so that Hudson can become a US citizen.
