After Mecca

After McDonald's, we stopped by a Christian bookstore on our way to my parents to see Hannah's dedication. We spent the evening with my parents. My mother made her famous meatballs. Afterwards, we took the crew to Walmart to look at diapers. I thought that girls might like some sandals that were on clearance. Laura tolerated the shoes for about 5 minutes. Emma said that she did not like any of the shoes, but she collected a handful of unmatched shoes in her hands.

Sunday,
We went to the dedication for Hannah. They go to Elmbrook (mega)church in Brookfield which is many times bigger than our church. At our church, you pick a day and they squeeze the dedication in the regular service.
At Elmbrook, the parents had to go to "dedication service class" a couple of weeks ago. They had an entire dedication service set aside for parents, children, and a well-wishers.
We went home to our church to make it to a family life potluck where quarterly new children and families are welcomed into the church. Hudson didn't notice when the called his name. He kept on eating. Our kids like potlucks. Between the three of them they ate almost everything.
We went home. ..
