I threw the pager away for the day. We played outside in the garden. Today we laid the trench for the train layout. We put the train on the dirt. Then we put toothpicks in the ground to outline where the train was going to go. Then I was spray painting dirt. Hudson looked at me kind of funny when I was spray painting dirt. Doug dug the trench. The twins tried to fill it in. In the morning, I hope to get the gravel that I need.
We walked to downtown Ripon. I bought some sunscreen. I gave Emma a couple of quarters to buy everyone some suckers. She was so proud of herself handing the money to the clerk and getting back her suckers. She proudly picked out her sucker for herself and then shared them with the rest of the family.
Emma would not believe me that she could exchange her money for candy until I took her to the store. Emma has taken an interest in coins. I have been putting together a 50 state quarter book for them.
We walked back from Ben Franklin. Emma walked all of the way pushing a stroller. The kids saw several fire trucks today. They were fascinated by the firetrucks.
We had bathtime, stortime, and bedtime.
