MMMM Good Food and its still freezing cold here

Its back to subzero temps here and its to cold do anything, so we had a wonderful dinner tonight. We had a really wonderful French onion soup with roasted garlic and three kinds of cheese on top of the broth. Then we had a garlic mashed potato that was to die for. Next we had some creamed corn that was made with half and half (not canned creamed corn) and prime rib roast. For dessert, the kids had ice cream and Cheryl and I had cheesecake with raspberry and whipped cream topping. Where did we get this wonderful food? Why, Cheryl prepared it. Took several hours of cooking, but the results was well worth it. Cheryl has been on a cooking binge lately. She is planning some French and Chinese next week that I am looking forward to. So if you are in the area next week, let us know and we'll set another plate or two.
