Our house

Three years ago today, we moved into this house and spent our first night.  Three years ago and two months ago, we bought this house at a real estate auction.  We closed a month later, and spent the next month painting and moving.  We were renters and became owners.  We did not have our little man when we moved, and in fact did not start the paper work for several months.  Our girls were not quite two.  I remember painting the bathroom late at night with Cheryl and the girls across the hall in a bedroom playing.  I remember, just after we moved in, picking Emma up quickly and holding above my head.  For my trouble, she puked into my face.  The backyard has a swing set, pool and tent now.   My in laws helped paint and put down new flooring in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom.  For about 6-8 months, we did not have carpet in the living room.  The dishwasher was not hooked up until our first 10 months.  Slowly, we turned this house into a home.
