Fall in Wisconsin

It is the start of a new season. We went to the Princeton flea market with the crew. We stopped by the donut shop in Princeton to get some donuts. The kids munched on their cake donuts. Hudson put his in the cupholder. Emma put her leavings in the ashtray. We bought a few christmas presents....it is the end of the year for the flea market so we got stuff at a discount. Doug bought his favorite amish bread. He loves to buy bread there.

We came home. We had pasta for lunch. The kids went to play. Saturday night we had chicken soup. I have been cooking more and more in the wok.

We bought a couple of VHS videos at the video store.

Sunday, we went to church. We had panini. The kids and I made sailboats out of the styrafoam that came in the video package. Emma colored her sail, colored her styrofoam, chewed on her straw, then did not want to make a boat. She danced down the hallway with different pieces of the boat. She gave me the definite "NOOO" when I asked her if she wanted me to put it together for her. The boy dove into coloring the boat components, then put it together. He pulled all of the tape that he could off the dispenser in the building phase. Laura took some encouragement to put together her boat. Laura and Jonathan went to the launch in the bathtub. Laura wanted to take a bath with her boat and Jonathan wanted to create a typhoon?hurricane> The boats were moved to shallower waters in the sink. Jonathan in his exhuberance knocked over one of the boats that fell apart. Emma the scavenger came back played with the pieces.

Dougs mom and her husband are here visiting for a few days. They have been having fun with the children. Doug has been doing guy things with Jerry.
