It was chilly here on Saturday, summer seems to have left early this year. But, we made the trek to Badger Mining Days. Its a family own company that supplies high quality sand to the foundry industry. Once a year, they have an open house. They have a lake to fish and have a ski show, and have crafts that involve rocks and sand. Where else can you throw rocks, climb sand hills and take a train ride on a 1960's era standard Pullman passenger car?
