Packing

How do you pack for two adults, one toddler for a visit to a new country in 88 pounds or less?
bought clothes at a thrift shop
bought a suitcase at a thrift shop
downloaded 5 different list off the internet of things to take to China
made 5 lists of my own
Walmart for supplies
Kmart for what we forgot
pack the stuff 2 weeks ahead of time.
Repack 2 days ahead of time.
As we have gotten closer, I am busy with clothes, medicine, and toys...
Doug is getting the paperwork and electronic stuff together. We went to a local camera shop to get some film for my camera.

I guess that we keep filling the suitcase with more and more stuff until we reach "88 pounds"

The girls have helped us pack. Laura has been taking stuff out of the suitcase and putting it on the table or dancing down the hallway to play with whatever she can get her hands on ...Cheryl

Good luck with the packing, it's been our experience that the "night before" departure is the worst, trying to figure out what goes and what should stay! Your FAMILY is in our PRAYERS, Doug and Cheryl meeting up with Hudson...and the twins with Gmom & Gpop...maybe they will need the most prayers!...it sure has been a long time for them doing the child thing! Looking forward to reading the blog while your abroad! The Coon Family
