Its been 6 months now since Jonathan Hudson Le (aka Ping Ju) joined this family. Since that time ------
1. He has gone from scarred and withdrawn to feeling free to express himself (that means he can have some big fits when he doesn't get his way and will certainly fight with his sisters. It also means that he can really be a happy boy who enjoys playing with mom, dad and his sisters).
2. He has gained weight. Still not the best diet, but he does like fruit (especially watermelon), noodles and pasta, pizza (likes to eat the topping off the crust), any kind of juice (he loves the sugar in it - we cut him back), some veggies (got to sneak them in), assorted deserts, milk and cereal. You know, its not half bad. He sometimes wont eat dinner, so to bad he gets nothing else to eat.
3. He is able to say quite a few words in English. He also is able to use some signs.
4. He has a seemingly vast amount of energy that never stops.
5. He helps with the laundry.
6. He seems to be above average intelligence.
7. Not really sick, our girls have been sick several times since we came home and Hudson barely broke a sweat.
So, that is where he is today.
Hope you all like pics. Laura is setting in a sled, waiting for snow.
