No pics this time. Too lazy to bring the camera along and take them. Last Wednesday, we went to the Super Walmart store to buy groceries. Its about 25 minutes from here. No biggie for most people, but here in the boonies, it is a big deal. We took the whole team with us. They did fairly well, Hudson was becoming tired toward the end and showed it.
On Friday, we cooked out, just dogs and burgers.
Saturday, I went out and did some errands, and when I came home, we loaded up the team and went yard sailing. Cheryl bought some clothes for the kids. She had fun. Then we went to the Gold Arches Supper Club. We took our food across the street to Cheryl's clinic and listened to a free concert. Then we went to the Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake. The opera house is not a opera house. Like most midwest towns, there was a building or second floor that was called an opera house. It served as the meeting hall for the community, everything from old vaudeville acts to movies were shown there. The Thrasher House started out that way, but in the 1940's it was turned into a warehouse. About 15 years ago, someone bought it and turned back into the opera house. Anyway, a Chinese lady called Yu Wei was booked in there and her 2:00 p.m. show was shorter and for families. So we went. Great dancing, but the Team became bored about halfway thru. Still we wanted to show Hudson some of his culture and the girls where their brother came from.
Sunday, we went to church and then to Shepards drive in and then Walmart. Later, we tried to cook a pizza on our grill, but we weren't watching it and it burned. The top was very good. Later, we built a fire.
