Our son, Jonathan Hudson, has shown a remarkable resistance to illness. He has on several occasions totally escaped any illness that the rest of the family has contracted. Despite the fact that he drinks after them and sometimes eats their apples or other food. We don't encourage him to do this, in fact we discourage it. But he does and its hard to dissuade him. Anyway, the rest of us have colds, he is fine. A picture of health. As hardy as a horse.
He and Emma have been playing very well together lately, except for today. Jonathan (we have been using his first name for quite awhile, although if you ask him what his name is, he says "bebe popo" with a smile) really did something that Emma did not like. I did not see it directly, but Emma just knocked him down. I think she was saying " I'm firstborn, you crossed the line" He became mad. I told Emma to leave the room and Jonathan sat on my lap for awhile to calm down. Now, we don't like hitting or fighting, but some is going to happen and we tell the two combattants to hug and make up. Usually, within a moment or so, they are good friends again. But this was a little different. This took a little longer than usual for the two of them make up, but they did. Within 5 minutes, harmony was restored.
UPDATE: Little man woke up this morning with a hacky cough. He's sick too.
