Dinner time

Tonight my wife made a wonderful chicken dinner with stuffing, beans, baked potato, scalopped corn. We used our "new" Nesco roaster. By new, I mean its 10 years old. But Doug, you say, how can that be? Its simple, 10 years ago, we received it for a wedding gift. (We don't remember from who, so if your reading this, thanks again). Several months ago, my in laws reminded us about all of the junk that we had in their basement. So they brought it up to us. Among all of the junk, was the roaster still sealed in its box. So, now our family is four, we used it once, and then again, and again. It cooks very tasty dinners. So, the lesson is keep your gifts around awhile and you'll find a use for it. (Did you think I was going to give you some deeper meaning?) While at dinner, Laura was playing cell phone with her hands, talking and everything. Another lesson, keep a camera handy. I don't think I caught it quite the way she was originally doing it, but here she is.
